Permitted Uses
WapBizSuite may be used for the following lawful, legitimate business communication purposes:
- Sending transactional notifications to customers who have explicitly opted in — including order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
- Appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and service follow-ups to consenting customers
- Customer support conversations via two-way WhatsApp messaging, where the customer has initiated contact or has opted in to receive support messages
- Promotional and marketing messages sent exclusively to contacts who have provided clear, documented, opt-in consent to receive marketing communications from your business via WhatsApp
- Internal team notifications and workflow automation within your business
- Broadcast campaigns to properly opted-in subscriber lists using Meta-approved message templates
Prohibited Uses
The following uses of WapBizSuite are strictly prohibited. Engaging in any of the following may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement or Meta:
- Spam and unsolicited messaging: sending bulk or mass messages to any contacts who have not explicitly opted in to receive WhatsApp messages from your business
- Purchased or scraped contact lists: importing, purchasing, renting, or using phone number lists that were not voluntarily provided to your business for the purpose of WhatsApp communications
- Illegal content: promoting, advertising, or facilitating any activity that is illegal in the sender's or recipient's jurisdiction
- Adult content: sending sexually explicit material, pornographic content, or adult-only material through the platform
- Restricted categories without compliance: gambling (where prohibited by law), tobacco, prescription medications, weapons, controlled substances, or other regulated goods without appropriate legal authorisation and Meta category approval
- Impersonation: impersonating another business, brand, individual, or government entity in any message, template, or business profile
- Harassment and abuse: using the platform to harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse any individual or group
- Ignoring opt-outs: circumventing, ignoring, or delaying the processing of opt-out requests. STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, and equivalent keywords must be processed immediately.
- Unapproved templates: sending template-based messages using templates that have not been reviewed and approved by Meta, or using templates for purposes other than those approved
- Platform abuse: attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, exploit vulnerabilities in, overload, or disrupt the WapBizSuite platform or infrastructure
- Credential sharing: sharing account login credentials with unauthorised third parties or allowing others to access the platform under your account without our express written permission
- Security testing: testing, scanning, or probing WapBizSuite for security vulnerabilities without prior written authorisation from [Your Company Name]
- Meta policy violations: any use that violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy, WhatsApp Commerce Policy, or any other applicable Meta platform terms
Consent Requirements
Proper consent is the foundation of compliant WhatsApp messaging. You must:
- Obtain explicit opt-in from every contact before sending any marketing, promotional, or non-transactional messages. Opt-in must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Pre-ticked boxes do not constitute valid consent.
- Document consent at the point of collection, recording the date, channel, and wording of the consent request
- Provide clear identification in every message — recipients must be able to identify your business and understand why they are receiving the message
- Honour opt-outs immediately — our platform automatically processes opt-out keywords, but you are responsible for ensuring opt-outs are respected across all your systems and channels. Never attempt to re-engage a contact who has opted out without fresh consent.
- Respect frequency expectations — only send messages at the frequency your contacts consented to. Excessive messaging to consenting contacts may constitute harassment.
Content Standards
All messages and templates sent through WapBizSuite must meet the following content standards:
- Messages must be written in a language that the recipient understands and has consented to receive communications in
- Message content must not be misleading, deceptive, or contain false claims about your business, products, or services
- Calls to action (CTAs) must accurately describe the linked destination or action — misleading CTAs (e.g., "Click to claim your prize" leading to an unrelated page) are prohibited
- Template messages submitted to Meta for approval must accurately and fully describe the intended message content; using approved templates for purposes materially different from the approved use is prohibited
- Messages must comply with all applicable advertising standards and consumer protection regulations in your jurisdiction
- You must not embed tracking pixels, malicious links, or content designed to harvest personal data without the recipient's knowledge
Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor aggregate message patterns, delivery rates, opt-out rates, and other platform metrics to identify potential AUP violations. We do not read the content of individual messages as a matter of routine, but we may review messages where we have specific reason to believe a violation has occurred.
Enforcement actions for AUP violations:
Written Warning
A formal written warning will be issued by email detailing the violation and required corrective action. You must acknowledge the warning and confirm corrective steps within 5 business days.
Temporary Suspension
Your account will be suspended for a period of 7–30 days depending on the severity of the violation. Messaging capabilities will be disabled during this period. The suspension may be appealed.
Permanent Termination
Repeated violations or single serious violations (including spam, illegal content, or activities that compromise other users or the platform) will result in immediate, permanent account termination without refund.
We may report violations involving illegal content or activities to relevant law enforcement authorities or to Meta.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of WapBizSuite that violates this Acceptable Use Policy — including by other users of the platform — please report it to us promptly.
To report a violation:
- Email [contact@yourdomain.com] with the subject line "AUP Violation Report"
- Include as much detail as possible: the nature of the violation, the account or business involved (if known), and any supporting evidence
- All reports are treated confidentially
We will investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action. We will not disclose the identity of reporters without their consent, except where required by law.
